According to The Commission on Unclaimed Assets, one in three adults in Britain believes they have a dormant account of some description. The estimate for all inactive products in National Savings is an astonishing £1.8 billion, £933 million of which has been dormant for 15 years or more.
Other assets such as pensions, stocks & shares and individual bank accounts are lying dormant or unclaimed in financial institutions across the UK and it is thought a total in excess of £20 billion may be undiscovered in the country as a whole.
Tracesmart Asset Reunification LLP (TAR) has identified a substantial amount of unclaimed assets innocently undiscovered following death. TAR is now pro-actively seeking to reunite these assets to their rightful owners and over the coming months we will be writing to all relevant executors or beneficiaries with the aim of identifying their rightful claim to the funds.
