1.7m Dates of Birth Acquired
As another successful year at Tracesmart Corporate comes to an end, we are already looking at what improvements and additions we can make in 2008.
Starting as we mean to go on, January will see an additional 1.7 million, Data Protection Act Compliant, Opt-In Date of Birth records added to our extensive collection of datasets. Dates of Birth are a huge asset when tracing people as they act as a unique identifier for a person. It can mean the difference between trawling through hundreds of David Jones’s in Cardiff or finding the right one instantly. On addition of these records, our powerful online system will automatically append dates of birth, along with middle names and addresses, to our Electoral Register dataset, allowing you to locate the person you’re looking for quickly and efficiently.
The addition of these records into our dataset collection also improves Smartlink, our Address Link tool. The benefit to being able to identify someone by both name and date of birth provides our system with enough information to find both their previous and current addresses. This is information can prove vital when debtor tracing or pension tracing. The addition of 1.7 million Date of Birth records throughout January will enhance all aspects of our system, but will be especially beneficial to our Data Cleansing and Data Enrichment services. This is just one of many improvements we will be making throughout 2008 to improve our system and quality of service.

We would like to wish all our subscribers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year!
