Pensions tracing and mortality screening company enable JLT to maintain data integrity

Tracesmart, one of the UK's leading data specialists, is pleased to announce that JLT Benefit Solutions Ltd (JLT) has signed a three year renewal to utilise its pension services. JLT, a globally recognised organisation, was one of the first Third Party Administrators (TPA) to trial Tracesmart's services. The renewal of this contract reinforces Tracesmart's position as the preferred supplier of data solutions within the pensions industry.

Commenting on their decision to continue utilising Tracesmart's services, Lorraine Harper, Head of Governance Services at JLT stated, "Tracesmart continues to develop products and services which meet the diverse needs of its clients. There is an increasing focus on the quality and completeness of data within our industry and Tracesmart has been proactive in recognising this. The levels of innovation are market leading and we are delighted to be renewing our contract with Tracesmart for a further three years."

Tracesmart has enjoyed rapid growth over recent years and extended its service portfolio to supply a growing number of pension schemes and third party administrators with the specialist pension tracing, mortality screening and identity verification services. The company is one of a limited number of companies to receive a weekly feed of current Death Registration Information from the Identity and Passport Service (IPS). As an IPS licence holder, Tracesmart has been able to integrate the recently released 'gap data' – the list of deaths registered in the UK from January 2007 to September 2008 – into its database, helping it to enhance the coverage of mortalities in England and Wales.
