Customisable Scorecard Facilitates Tailored Identity Checks
IDU v2.3 allows users to create and manage their own identity check scorecards
Tracesmart, leading supplier of consumer intelligence solutions, has launched version 2.3 of its identity verification suite of products, IDU. Featuring a scorecard customisation and management facility, IDU products now provide users with the ability to create and manage bespoke scorecards for identity verification and due diligence purposes. This update allows IDU products to be tailored further to meet clients' needs.
Whilst products in the IDU range have been developed around the core theme of identity verification, each is designed to support specific activities. IDU AML's primary function is to help clients meet their anti-money laundering obligations in terms of both due diligence and identity confirmation, whilst IDU KYC supports general identity verification for anti-fraud purposes. Via the scorecard customisation facility, Tracesmart clients are afforded more flexibility and are able to diversify the products' functionality even further by creating activity specific scorecards that can be assigned to products and users.
The customisation facility enables users to select which datasets they utilise in checks and also allows them to weight each of the datasets, by assigning scores which can be both positive and negative. The resulting scorecard can then be assigned to an IDU product and utilised in any screening conducted. This flexibility allows for the IDU products to be moulded around specific business needs and enables clients to create and assign specific scorecards, built to support particular business activities.
Tracesmart's Sales Director - Chris Rothwell - highlights why the company believes in providing clients with solutions that offer a greater degree of customisation.
"We have a very wide and varied client base and whilst many of their core needs will be universal, differing industries often have vertical requirements applicable only to their sector. The solution to us is simple - create a strong range of products which meet the common aims, but provide enough flexibility to further meet their specific needs.
Whilst we are a very customer centric organisation, we'd never presume to know our client's business better than they do. By providing software which is customisable, our clients are able to use our products for applications we haven't even thought of and the end result is a one size fits all solution."
By providing the facility to create and assign bespoke scorecards, IDU v2.3 is allowing the user to create product templates - this is extremely beneficial for those clients whom have multiple users, or even teams of users, who are using IDU for different activities. A scorecard can be created and assigned dependent on the specific user and business function requirements, providing a highly adaptive solution.
