Self-Serve Identity Check launched by Tracesmart
Data specialists simplify the identity verification purchasing process
Tracesmart, a leading provider of data driven solutions, has announced the launch of a new self-serve website that provides access to its identity verification product, IDU. The site allows businesses to buy smaller credit packages online, providing a convenient method of purchasing for those companies conducting low volumes of identity checks.
Combining convenience with flexibility and competitive pricing, the site enables organisations to instantly purchase between 100 and 1,000 credits for Tracesmart's identity check and due diligence solution, IDU. A fixed cost per credit (which allows for one identity check), ensures customers understand what they are purchasing.
IDU is a powerful electronic identity verification tool, which facilitates the screening of individuals against a wide variety of datasets and the verification of hardcopy identity documents. Utilised widely for fraud prevention, anti-money laundering and due diligence processes, IDU will now be more readily available to the lower usage user. Mike Trezise, Managing Director at Tracesmart, highlights why the company decided to provide a self-serve option:
"The feedback we received from clients that wished to purchase smaller packages was that they desired convenience when purchasing. Whilst a consultant led purchasing process is vital for our higher volume users, those buying smaller volumes indicated that they valued convenience over consultation.
We therefore decided to develop a self-serve website which allows these users to manage the purchase process themselves, quickly and easily."
In addition to releasing the self-serve website, several upgrades have been made to IDU itself including data matching enhancements and access to invoices via the product interface. To support those users who wish to conduct identity checks on a bulk basis, Tracesmart has also developed a batch version of the product, which allows users to screen individuals en masse - particularly useful for those companies who wish to perform retrospective checks on existing clients or conduct ongoing due diligence.
Now in its third version iteration, Tracesmart is continually improving IDU to ensure that user expectations are surpassed - something which Chris Rothwell, Sales Director at Tracesmart, is extremely passionate about:
"Updating, improving and enhancing our services are fundamental processes in our year to year business strategy. Our clients demand the most up-to-date and cutting edge solutions available and we are committed to providing them.
The launch of the new IDU self-service site illustrates not only this commitment, but highlights that we take into consideration the full customer experience, not just the time spent in-product."
The IDU Portal is now live at http://idu.tracesmart.co.uk
