Utilising Tracesmart’s pension solutions enables Hewitt to enhance effective record management

Tracesmart Corporate, a leading provider of data cleansing services, is extremely pleased to announce that Hewitt Associates has been added to its roster of international clients. Providing tracing, existence and anti-money laundering services, Tracesmart Corporate will enable Hewitt to trace people such as gone aways or executors of the deceased, to identify mortalities and to conduct identity checks as part of compliance and security measures. These services will ensure that Hewitt holds accurate member information; easing member record management and protecting their clients' schemes from fraud.

Tracesmart is one of a small handful of organisations to receive weekly updates of registered UK deaths as part of the General Register Office’s (GRO) Disclosure of Death Registration Information (DDRI) scheme. This information enhances the company’s mortality screening facility - a key function of their Existence Alert service.  In addition to this service, Hewitt will also be utilising Tracesmart’s anti-money laundering system to confirm scheme members’ identities, screen individuals against politically exposed persons and sanction databases, and to demonstrate quality data governance.
